The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies into the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering services such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it can be alarmed with regards to the significant variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your significant quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office committed to service the area every day. The company position established for intervention encounters a large influx of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it challenging for your office to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra means to enable the servicing of all shoppers and enhance use of Social Assistance companies,” click here the agency said.
